How we set up here
Just a bridge away from Seville, but with small-town space
Tomares sits right next to the city: you cross the river and climb the Aljarafe hill. For an installation, it is one of the most rewarding towns in the whole metropolitan area.
Being so close makes everything easier. We can set up in the morning, nip back to the warehouse if anything is missing and be back in no time, and a late-night take-down does not mean a long drive. The town combines a compact centre with large areas of detached and semi-detached houses and plots, plus good-sized parks and green spaces. In almost every case the van can reach the door.
Private gardens: our most common set-up
Most of what we are asked for here is sound for gardens. It sounds simple, but there is a technique to it. Outdoors the sound does not bounce back, so it has to be distributed: two points either side of the dance floor work far better than one big system in a corner. Lawns absorb, pools reflect and party walls send sound back towards the neighbours, so how the speakers are aimed matters as much as their power. Power supply also needs checking: a domestic fuse box can struggle if the sound, the lighting and the kitchen all share the same circuit.
Lighting: what transforms the photos
At a garden celebration, it is the light that transforms the space: festoon lights, colour washes on hedges and walls, and a warm glow over the tables. It is more about installation than power, with hidden cabling and transformers protected from sprinkler moisture. You can see our approach in decorative lighting.

What gets celebrated
Celebrations at home and outdoor events
Here there are fewer large-scale events and more carefully planned celebrations, with seated guests and conversation.
Civil weddings in private gardens, anniversaries, dinners and birthday parties make up the bulk of our work. They are usually handled with a discreet system for the speeches and the cocktail hour, then a subwoofer boost for the dancing, plus decorative lighting. May's First Communion parties fill the calendar and follow the same pattern: a microphone, background music and, if there is entertainment, a system with a bit more body.
The town council and local associations also hold cultural and sporting activities in the town's parks and squares, where the set-up becomes an outdoor one with a stage platform and PA system. And there is a share of small corporate events in villas and private venues, looking for a different atmosphere from a hotel function room.

Frequently asked questions
Questions from clients in Tomares
How much power do I need for a party of sixty people in a garden?
A pair of medium-sized active speakers and one subwoofer will cover that number well, as long as they are spread out and you are not expecting a nightclub sound. Outdoors, the problem is rarely power; it is placement.
Can we have music until late at a detached house?
There is more leeway than in a flat, but it is not unlimited: the local bylaw sets quiet hours, and noise carries in a residential area. The practical approach is to wrap up the loudest part at an agreed time and then carry on at a low level.
Can you set up and collect on the same day?
Yes. Being so close to Seville, we set up in the morning or afternoon and collect when you finish, even in the early hours. If you would rather the equipment stays until the next day, that can be arranged too.
Do you also handle the garden lighting?
Yes, and it is usually what makes the biggest difference. We work with festoon lights, colour washes and warm accent lights, with all cabling tidied away and protected from the sprinklers.
