What we set up
A DJ booth is not just two players on a table
What lets a DJ do their job is the whole package: the right height, a booth monitor, tidy connections and an output to the system that does not distort.
We rent DJ equipment in Seville for weddings, private parties, casetas, corporate events, clubs, festivals and productions. The standard booth we set up includes:
- Professional players or an all-in-one system, depending on what the DJ asks for.
- Club mixer, with filters, effects and a microphone input.
- Booth monitor, so the DJ can mix with a proper reference instead of relying on the front-of-house speakers, which arrive late.
- DJ booth unit or table at the right height, with a skirt if the event requires one.
- Cabling, protected power and output to the system with the level set.
- Microphone for hosting, introductions and announcements.
With or without sound
You can rent just the DJ booth, if the venue already has a system, or the full set-up with speakers and subwoofers sized to the space. Our advice: if there is going to be dancing, don't skimp on bass; a DJ on an underpowered system spends the night turning it up, and the result is worse for everyone.
And with lights, if you like
The most popular package for private parties and weddings adds some dance floor LED lights, an effect or two and a smoke machine so the beams can be seen. If the dance floor is the centrepiece of the event, we also install an LED dance floor.

Before the event
The four questions we always ask the DJ
1. What do you play on? A DJ who turns up with a USB stick and expects club players is very different from one who brings their own controller and only needs an output to the system. Asking beforehand avoids the classic "I can't plug this in" at nine o'clock at night.
2. Do you need two set-ups for changeovers? At long parties with several DJs, having two positions or a set-up that allows a hot swap avoids the music cutting out between sets.
3. Will you be using a microphone? If there will be hosting, introductions or speeches from the booth, we provide a wireless mic on its own channel, rather than one plugged into the mixer any old how.
4. Where is the booth going? This is the one most often overlooked. The booth should not be in front of the speakers (feedback and impossible volume) nor in a corner where the DJ cannot see the dance floor. And it needs a reliable power socket: sharing a circuit with the kitchen or an ice machine is the surest way to have the music cut out in the middle of the night.
Common mistakes at private parties
- Setting the booth up on a camping table that wobbles with every bass hit.
- Leaving the equipment in a garden with no skirt or protection, within reach of guests and their drinks.
- Not planning the finish time: some venues have a strict cut-off time and it is best to know beforehand.
- Forgetting the venue's sound limiter, which trips easily with subwoofers.

Frequently asked questions
DJ equipment hire FAQs
Do you provide the DJ?
We rent the equipment and set up the DJ booth. If you need a DJ, we can advise you on which profile suits your event: we cover it in how to choose the perfect DJ.
My DJ brings their own equipment. What do I need from you?
Usually the sound system and the booth monitor: speakers, subwoofers, cabling and an output ready for their controller. Tell us what they are bringing and which connector it uses, and we will have everything ready.
How long does it take to set up a DJ booth?
A booth on its own, not long. With a sound system, lights and a dance floor, allow a few hours. We always set up with enough time to test before the first guest arrives.
Do we need a technician during the party?
If the DJ runs their own set and the system has been tuned, not always. On large set-ups, with several DJs or changeovers between live acts, it is worth it: see sound rental with a technician.
Can you set up in a garden with no power socket nearby?
Yes, by running power with cable of the right gauge from the distribution board or, if there isn't one, with a generator. Here is how to work out how many kW you need.
Do you work outside Seville city?
Yes, across the whole province: Dos Hermanas, Alcalá de Guadaíra, Mairena del Aljarafe, Utrera, Carmona and more. Check our service areas.
