Sound systems for events in Dos Hermanas
The largest town in the metropolitan area after Seville itself, and one of the most spread out: from the centre to Montequinto or the Carretera de la Isla there is a world of difference for a set-up.

How we set up here
A huge and highly varied municipality
Dos Hermanas is not a compact town: it is a historic centre, a separate district —Montequinto—, large areas of detached housing and several industrial estates towards the river.
The first thing we ask is which part of the municipality the event is in, because travel time within it can be longer than the drive from Seville. Montequinto lies to the north, almost touching the city and the university campus, with wide streets and modern blocks. The old centre, around the square and the oldest streets, has narrow and pedestrianised stretches where we have to unload and move the vehicle away. And to the south and east there are developments of detached houses and plots, plus the industrial land along the Carretera de la Isla, where access is no problem at all.
Detached houses, plots and gardens
Many of the town's private parties are held at detached homes with a garden or pool. There the set-up is simple —we park at the door— and the challenges are two others: the available power, because a domestic fuse box cannot handle sound and lighting unless the circuits are properly split, and the distance to the neighbours, which on a plot is usually greater than in a flat but not unlimited. When there is a pool, cabling is protected and kept away from the water, without exception.
Warehouses and industrial spaces
The town's industrial estates host product launches, company dinners and warehouse events. A warehouse is a space with a high ceiling, sheet metal and concrete: it sounds huge and muddy if you hit it with power. The answer is to distribute the system and add some improvised treatment —drapes, furniture, audience layout— and, if attendance justifies it, a flown or tower-mounted line array.

What gets celebrated
From romería to company warehouse
It is a town with a deep-rooted festive calendar of its own and, at the same time, plenty of business activity. The two worlds ask us for different things.
On the festive side, Dos Hermanas has its own feria, patron saint festivities and a long-distance romería (pilgrimage festival) that draws big crowds. For these set-ups we work with a stage, an outdoor system sized to the attendance and, almost always, a generator. Street events also require protected cabling and set-up times planned so they do not interfere with the procession route.
The rest of the year is dominated by weddings and First Communion parties in halls and country estates nearby, private parties at detached houses and corporate events in warehouses and hotels. Weddings usually involve three moments with different systems —ceremony, drinks reception and dancing— plus decorative lighting that completely transforms the look of the venue.

Frequently asked questions
Questions from clients in Dos Hermanas
Do you charge for travel to Dos Hermanas?
Yes, but it is reduced and agreed in advance: it is within the metropolitan belt and the trip is short. What can add to it is a set-up that needs two trips, for example when there is a stage and large-format sound.
I'm having a party at a house with a pool. Is that a problem?
Not if it is planned. We place the equipment at a safe distance from the water, protect the cabling and spread the load across several circuits on the fuse board. What we never do is put speakers at the edge of the pool or leave extension leads running across wet areas.
Can you set up in a warehouse on the industrial estate?
Yes, it is a common set-up. We need to know the clear height, whether there is an overhead crane or rigging points, and how much electrical power is available at the board. With that we decide whether the system goes on towers or is flown.
Do you also work in Montequinto?
Yes. It is in the north of the municipality, almost touching Seville, and access is easy. Just give us the exact address, because it is quite a distance from the centre of Dos Hermanas.
