Starting point

A stage isn't "just a structure": it's the foundation for everything else

If you need stage hire in Seville or platform rental for a professional event, outdoors or indoors, what matters is working with a company that guarantees safety, stability, fast set-up, regulatory compliance and a flawless finish.

A stage or platform isn't just something to stand on: it's the focal point of the event, the base for performers, speakers and technical equipment, and the foundation that lets the sound, lighting and screens work without risk. Everything that happens that night rests, quite literally, on top of it.

We offer modular platform rental, concert stages, risers for corporate events, catwalks, podiums, ramps and bespoke solutions in Seville and province. We work with customisable dimensions, adjustable heights and essential accessories such as steps, guardrails, skirting, edge trims, levelling, safety protection and non-slip finishes.

Stage or platform: the practical difference

Both are modular platforms and are often built from the same material. The difference lies in how they're used and, therefore, in what they need to deliver. A stage is the main platform for a performance: it sits higher, carries more load (backline, monitors, drum kit, people moving around), often has a structure rigged above it and needs access steps, skirting and sometimes a rear guardrail. A platform or riser raises a specific area (a lectern, the top table, the DJ booth, an exhibition stand) and prioritises quick set-up and a low profile. When someone asks us for "a small stage", what they need is almost always a platform; and when they ask for "a platform for the band", they usually need a stage.

Live music

Stage hire in Seville for concerts, festivals and shows

Stage rental for concerts calls for sturdy, properly engineered structures, especially when sound towers, truss, lighting, LED screens or decoration are integrated.

We have modular stages that can be configured to suit the available space, the audience size and the production's needs. The surface is built by combining modules, and the height is set with adjustable legs according to the sightlines the audience needs.

Typical stage uses

  • Concerts and festivals in Seville
  • Fairs, verbenas (street parties) and local festivities
  • Performances, shows, DJ sets and dance bands
  • Brand presentations and launches
  • Institutional ceremonies and celebrations

And if you need it, we coordinate the technical integration with sound, lighting, LED screens, backline, dressing rooms and crowd barriers, so the production is a complete set-up with no surprises.

If there's a live band, tell us from the outset: a drum kit, amplifiers and stage monitors concentrate a lot of weight in a small area, and the load distribution is calculated differently than for an event with two speakers and a lectern.

Ceremonies and celebrations

Platform rental for corporate events, weddings and ceremonies

A platform is the most versatile and quickest solution when you need to raise an area, create a focal point or level out a space.

Event platform hire in Seville is ideal for:

  • Talks, conferences and conventions
  • Award ceremonies and galas
  • Corporate presentations
  • Weddings and celebrations: a platform for the DJ, for the ceremony or for the banquet
  • Stands and trade fairs: platforms for raised technical flooring or display areas
  • Fashion catwalks: catwalk platforms in Seville

Modular platforms let you create large surfaces with a professional finish while keeping them safe and comfortable to use. They improve visibility, enhance the look and make life easier for camera operators, photographers and technicians. At a conference or an awards ceremony, a well-placed platform is what stops the fifth row seeing nothing but the backs of heads; at a wedding, it's what lifts the band or the DJ off the garden lawn.

How to choose

Modular platform hire in Seville: sizes, heights and finishes

Modular platform rental gives you complete flexibility.

  • Made-to-measure surface, built from modules
  • Adjustable heights to suit the type of event and the sightlines
  • Levelling available for uneven ground
  • Non-slip finish for added safety
  • Skirting (black or other colours) for a clean, professional look
  • Steps and safe access
  • Guardrails and edge protection where required

If the event is outdoors, we also plan for wind, light rain, equipment loads and ground conditions, always putting stability and safety first.

How the height is decided

Height isn't a matter of taste: it's chosen for sightlines. With a seated audience and only a few rows, a modest rise is enough, and it also makes access easier for older people or those with reduced mobility. With a standing audience, you need to go considerably higher so those at the back can see anything, and as soon as you gain height two requirements come in: steps with a handrail and a guardrail or toe board on the sides where nobody should fall off. The higher the platform, the more important plumbing, bracing and support on firm ground become.

The finish is functional too

Skirting isn't only about looks: it hides the structure, the cabling and the cases that always end up under the platform. Edge trims prevent sharp corners and trips at the edge. And a non-slip surface matters especially outdoors, where the early-morning dew leaves the deck damp. These details are what set a professionally built platform apart from four modules just propped up.

How it works

Inside a modular platform

Hardly anyone has seen a platform taken apart. These three animations explain in ten seconds what takes five minutes over the phone: how the height is adjusted, what's inside each module and what gets added on top.

01 · Height

Height is adjusted leg by leg

The legs are telescopic and locked with a pin. Each one is adjusted individually, so the platform stays level even when the ground isn't: on a sloping square, on albero (compacted sand) or on grass.

02 · Anatomy

What's inside a module

A birch plywood deck with a non-slip surface, an aluminium perimeter frame and interchangeable legs. Each module is light enough for two people to lift.

03 · Accessories

What gets added on top

Skirting to hide the structure, steps with a handrail for access and guardrails on the open sides. From 60 cm high, it's advisable to fit all three.

Logistics

Stage and riser set-up and take-down in Seville

Good installation is what prevents delays and problems on the day of the event. It doesn't start when the lorry arrives: it starts when the schedule is agreed with the venue.

  1. Loading and unloading times

These are agreed with the venue and the other suppliers. Two lorries at the same door at the same time simply won't fit.

  2. Venue access

Door widths, steps, ramps and the distance from where the vehicle can stop. Access affects timing as much as the size of the stage.

  3. Setting out and levelling

The exact position is marked and the platform is levelled point by point. On albero (compacted sand), grass or old tiled floors, this is the most time-consuming part.

  4. Platform assembly

Modules, adjustable legs, bracing, steps, handrails, skirting and perimeter finishes.

  5. Stability testing

We check plumb, level and firmness under load before anyone steps on it or any equipment goes on top.

  6. Coordination with production

Sound, lighting and video go in once the platform is ready, in the agreed order, not all at once.

  7. Take-down

At the end of the event, even in the early hours. Everything is packed away and the space is left as we found it.

Safety

Safety and regulations for stages and risers

This is the part of the service you don't see, and the one that matters most. A platform is safe because of how it is assembled, not because of how it looks from three metres away.

  • Structures designed for professional use
  • Stable, non-slip surfaces
  • Safe access via steps or ramps
  • Guards and handrails where required
  • Installation carried out by qualified staff

For public events, the local council or the organisers usually require specific documentation and technical conditions. That's why it matters to work with a company used to staging events and shows.

Why clients can't assemble the stage themselves

We're often asked: «just leave us the modules and we'll put them up ourselves». We don't do that, and it's worth explaining why. A riser that looks assembled can be wrong in ways you can't see: legs not locked at the same height, modules not joined together, supports on soft ground that sink when the weight goes on, no bracing on long legs, or steps that are simply leaning against it. None of these faults show while three people are standing on it; they show when twenty climb up, when someone jumps to the beat or when an amplifier is placed right on the edge.

There are also two factors that hardly anyone takes into account. The first is dynamic load: a crowd jumping in unison exerts far more force than its own weight at rest, and that changes the calculation. The second is wind outdoors: as soon as there are skirts, banners, flags or a roof, the structure acts like a sail and needs ballast and bracing. Our staff assemble, check and take responsibility for that installation; if someone else puts it up, neither the calculation nor the insurance is worth anything.

When there is rigging suspended above the platform, the plan is drawn up together with the truss and lifting towers. If the stage also needs a roof, another level of calculation comes in, which we cover under covered stage.

A stage rarely comes on its own. These are the pieces that usually complete the installation, each with its own page so you can see how to choose it.

What is the difference between a stage and a riser?

A stage is usually the main platform for performances, with a bigger presence and greater production requirements (artists, equipment, access, look and feel). A riser is a more versatile modular platform, ideal for raising speaker areas, DJ booths, stands, catwalks or support surfaces.

What stage or riser sizes can be set up?

They can be built to measure, combining modules to reach the exact size. Normally we define width by depth, height, access (steps or ramp) and whether it will have skirting, handrails or other add-ons.

What height is recommended for an event riser?

It depends on audience size and sightlines. For talks and small events, a moderate height is usually enough. Concerts or events with a standing audience tend to need more height. We advise you based on the venue, the audience and camera and lighting requirements.

Does it include transport, set-up and take-down in Seville?

Yes, the service can include transport, set-up and take-down in Seville city and province. We can also offer rental only if the client has their own technical crew, subject to conditions.

Can a riser be installed outdoors?

Yes. Outdoors we assess the type of ground, levelling and site conditions. It's best to plan ahead if there will be wind, rain or extra load from technical equipment.

Are the risers non-slip?

Yes, professional events use stable surfaces with a non-slip finish. Perimeter trims, skirting and safe access can also be added.

Can steps, handrails or ramps be added?

Yes. Steps, ramps, handrails and other safety or accessibility elements can be included, depending on how the event will use the platform and the venue's requirements.

How much does it cost to rent a stage or riser in Seville?

The price depends on size, height, type of event, whether it's indoors or outdoors, access, handrails, skirting, transport and installation hours. The best approach is to request a quote with the basic details and we'll send you a fixed-price proposal.

How far in advance should I book?

For large events or high-demand dates, the sooner the better. Medium or small installations can sometimes be confirmed a few days ahead if there is availability, but it isn't advisable if you want to secure sizes and timings.

Can you provide a complete service for the event (stage, sound and lighting)?

Yes. We can coordinate a full service with PA system and sound reinforcement, lighting, LED screens and production support, as well as risers and staging.
