Speaker rental in Seville, done properly
Renting speakers is easy. Renting the right speakers for your space and your audience size is what makes your event sound good without overspending.
We rent speakers in Seville for private parties, weddings, First Communion parties, birthdays, corporate events, product launches, conferences, fairs, casetas, live performances and local festivities. We work just the same with private clients as with agencies, wedding planners, production companies, brotherhoods (hermandades), local councils and event organisers.
The difference between home audio and a professional speaker is not the maximum volume: it is how it behaves after four hours of non-stop use. A professional system keeps speech clear, does not distort when turned up and spreads the sound across the venue instead of firing everything at the centre. That is why, before giving you a quote, we ask how many people are coming, whether it is indoors or outdoors, what will be playing and at what time.
Active and self-powered speakers
The most requested option is the active speaker (also called self-powered), which has the amplification built into the cabinet. Faster set-up, fewer cables, fewer things that can go wrong, and factory tuning made for that specific speaker. For the vast majority of events it is the right choice. A passive system, with an external amplifier in a rack, still makes sense in fixed installations and large productions where it pays to centralise the amplification: we compare them in our guide active or passive speakers.
What you get with each speaker
- A stand or mount, because a speaker on the floor gets swallowed up by the front row.
- Professional cabling for signal and power, in whatever lengths the set-up requires.
- Ready to connect to your source: phone, laptop, mixing desk or DJ booth.
- Set-up, sound check and collection, plus tuning the system to the space.

What people rent speakers for in Seville
The same speakers don't suit everything. These are the five scenarios we set up most often.

Parties
Speakers for parties in Seville
Parties in homes, villas, terraces, courtyards, country estates, function rooms and venues. Birthdays, hen and stag parties, debutante balls (puestas de largo) and family celebrations. From a simple setup to a full system with subwoofers and microphones.

Weddings
Speakers for weddings
Ceremony, cocktail reception, banquet and party are four moments with four different needs. Discreet speakers where things need to look pretty, and power where people dance. More detail in wedding sound.

Business
Speakers for businesses and presentations
Product launches, conventions, press conferences, training sessions, conferences and openings. Here what matters is that speech is intelligible: a modest system, good microphones and careful EQ.

Feria
Speakers for fairs and casetas
Feria casetas, fairgrounds, romerías (pilgrimage festivals), Cruces de Mayo (May Crosses) and neighbourhood festivals. Equipment that stands up to dust, heat and long days. See sound for the Feria.

Live
Speakers for live music
Bands, flamenco, choirs and acoustic performances. The front-of-house PA is only half of it: you need stage monitors and enough channels on the mixing desk.

Portable
Speakers with no mains power
Battery-powered column and box speakers for squares, parks, guided tours and moving events. Details in portable sound.
How to choose
Indoors, outdoors and the mistake of only looking at watts
An indoor function room, a residential courtyard, an open garden and an industrial warehouse behave completely differently with the same speaker. Indoors, hard surfaces reflect sound and the enemy is reverberation: it pays to lower the overall level, place the speakers closer to the audience and keep the bass under control. Outdoors there are no walls to help, sound fades with distance and you need considerably more equipment for the same result; wind and background noise also work against you.
Placement: where an event is won or lost
Two badly placed speakers sound worse than one well-placed speaker. As rules of thumb: speakers always in front of the microphones (if they are behind, feedback is guaranteed), high enough to project over people's heads, and angled slightly towards the back of the audience, not the centre. In long spaces it is better to spread several small speakers than to push two big ones: the people at the front don't get blasted and the people at the back can actually hear.
When you need subwoofers
For speech and background music, no. As soon as there is dancing, a DJ or modern music at party level, yes: without a subwoofer the system sounds thin and people ask for more volume to make up for something that is not volume but a lack of body. If the audience size or venue is too much for speakers on stands, the next step up is a line array.
Watts: why they tell you less than you think
The wattage in a brochure is not comparable between brands and does not measure what really matters: how much sound pressure the speaker delivers and how it spreads it. It is better to think in terms of square metres to cover, distance to the furthest guest and type of programme. We explain it with examples in how many watts of sound do I need.
Reference
What we typically set up in each case
A rough guide. With the exact address of the venue we can fine-tune it much further.
| Situation | Setting | Typical configuration |
|---|---|---|
| Function room or hall up to 50 people | Indoors | One active speaker on a stand and one microphone |
| Celebration for 50 to 150 | Indoors or garden | Two speakers + one subwoofer if there is dancing |
| Terrace, courtyard or country estate up to 250 | Outdoors | Two speakers with subwoofers and a mixer; fill speakers if the space is long |
| Caseta or marquee up to 400 | Indoors with sound limiter | Distributed system, controlled power and tuning to the limiter |
| Square or open-air venue | Outdoors | Front-of-house system with subwoofers, or line array depending on distance |

"Cheap" speaker hire in Seville: how to cut the cost without cutting the result
Lots of people look for cheap speaker rental in Seville, and that is a perfectly reasonable request. What doesn't work is saving money by skimping on equipment: a system pushed to its limit sounds bad, is harder to hear than a smaller one that is well tuned, and forces you to crank up the volume all night.
What genuinely brings the cost of a set-up down:
- Matching the equipment to the real audience size, not to a "just in case". It is the item most often inflated for no reason.
- Allowing a comfortable set-up time. Setting up in the small hours or with restricted access costs more.
- Bundling equipment: sound, lighting and screens in a single service save one delivery and one set-up.
- Doing without a technician when one adds nothing. If the event is background music and one microphone, we leave the system ready and explained.
- Booking early, especially in high season.
If you have a fixed budget, say so from the start. It is more useful for you to tell us "this is what I have" so we can set up the best possible system within that figure, than for us to send you a proposal that doesn't fit.
Why choose us
What you get on top of the speaker
Equipment checked before every job
Every speaker is tested in the warehouse before loading. It is boring, and it is the reason almost nothing ever fails.
Set-up, testing and collection
Transport, installation, tuning, sound check and take-down at the end, even in the small hours.
Honest advice
If two speakers will do the job, we won't sell you four. We would rather work with you again than invoice one more item.
Coverage across the whole province
Seville city and towns across the metropolitan area and the province, with same-day delivery.
With or without a technician
You decide. For simple events, we leave it working and explained; for complex ones, we stay.

Frequently asked questions
Common questions about speaker rental
How many speakers do I need for 100 people?
Indoors, with background music and a speech or two, two active speakers on stands are usually more than enough. If there is dancing, add a subwoofer. Outdoors and with people spread out, the norm is to go up a step or add fill speakers.
Are stands and cables included?
Yes. The rental comes with mounts or stands, signal and power cabling and the adapters to connect your phone, laptop or mixer. You won't find a cable missing.
Can I collect the speakers and return them myself?
For small systems yes, with the usual deposit and terms. As soon as the set-up grows (subwoofers, several speakers, long cable runs) it pays for us to deliver and set it up: transport usually costs less than the trouble of a bad set-up.
Are they suitable for outdoors in heat or dust?
Yes, this is equipment designed for events and long days. What we never do is leave it exposed to direct rain without protection; if the event is outdoors, we plan a marquee or roof from the quote stage.
What if the venue has a sound limiter?
We set up with it in mind. A huge system in a venue with a limiter does not sound louder, it just cuts out more. Here we explain when it is mandatory and how it affects the set-up.
Can they be rented for several days?
Yes. For fairs, conferences and multi-day events the daily rate goes down. Tell us the dates and the set-up and take-down times and we will quote on that basis.
